You're exactly right Matt. The Community needs a plan we all support and believe in, and that goes beyond any new buildings. The discussions that are taking place on Facebook, this website and at the public forums are a great start. It's amazing to see the interest that the current affairs have generated. It shows how much our community cares about finding both short and long term solutions. Please encourage others to visit this site and share their feedback and ideas.

We need to let the Board & Devin know that the community is not behind his idea for the new high school. You would think after the bond vote failing this many times that they should re think things. I think most of the people understand that drastic changes need to be done for the budget to work, but packing the high school is not the way to do it. I think this new idea that you guys have come up with has some great possibilities. I also think the community could support this one as long as they feel that they have helped in the decision.

Quick update to our visitors. P4P thanks the Board and Devin for exploring options. P4P, a couple Board members and Devin met with one of the architects on January 13th to evaluate alternatives. Keep the ideas, suggestions and feedback coming. We'll continue to explore options that address the short and long term needs of our District!

I am glad to see that there is positive dialogue going on and alternative plans being made to those suggested by the school board. I am still hopeful that my sons will be able to graduate from Indee, as the four generations before them have done. I believe the proposal to build a high school wing onto the current middle school is more fiscally responsible than overcrowding the current, failing high school, as the administration has set forth. The P4P plan of moving all elementary students to West also provides less upheaval for younger students. Thank you for your hard work P4P!

I am excited about getting the whole community behind a workable plan. We can do this. We are in this together and I am grateful for the school board's time on this issue.
